Starmaxxer

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Starmaxxer ("Starmaxxer," "we," "us," or "our"), available at starmaxxer.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business whose Google Business Profile you connect to use Starmaxxer. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for any activity under your Starmaxxer account. Notify us promptly at hello@starmaxxer.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and trial

Starmaxxer offers a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription.

Plans. Starter is $39/month for one location. Pro is $79/month for up to five locations. Prices are in U.S. dollars.
Recurring billing. Subscriptions auto-renew each month until cancelled. You authorize us (via our payment processor LemonSqueezy) to charge your payment method on each renewal.
Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't prorate partial months.
Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, email us within 30 days and we'll review.
Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days notice. New prices apply at your next renewal.

4. Google Business Profile authorization

To use Starmaxxer's core features, you grant us limited access to your Google Business Profile via the OAuth scope business.manage. You authorize us to:

Read your reviews, ratings, and review replies
Read questions and answers on your listing
Post replies to reviews only after you have approved each reply
Post other content (answers, posts, etc.) only with your explicit in-app approval

You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting in Settings or via your Google account permissions page.

5. AI-generated content

Starmaxxer uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate suggested replies, answers, and posts. AI output is suggestive, not authoritative. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to post to your Google Business Profile, including any AI-generated content you approve. Always review drafts before posting.

We do not warrant that AI output will be accurate, appropriate, or fit for any specific purpose. AI may occasionally produce content that misstates facts or doesn't match your tone — that's why every draft requires your approval.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to violate Google's policies, terms, or any applicable law
Post replies you know to be false, deceptive, harassing, or offensive
Use the Service to operate or respond on behalf of a business you are not authorized to represent
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
Resell or sublicense the Service to third parties without our written agreement
Use the Service to send spam, deceptive content, or content that infringes others' rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to or generate via the Service (your business information, voice preferences, approved replies, posts, etc.). You grant Starmaxxer a limited license to use this content to provide and improve the Service.

8. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to the data practices described there.

9. Termination

You can terminate your account at any time by cancelling and requesting deletion at hello@starmaxxer.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, abuse the Service, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starmaxxer's total liability arising out of or related to these terms or the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Starmaxxer harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. For material Terms changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email or in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Starmaxxer is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Starmaxxer regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
