Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want Starmaxxer to be worth what you pay for it. If it's not, we'd rather you cancel and tell us why than feel stuck. This page lays out exactly how cancellations and refunds work.
Free trial
Every account starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required. If you don't subscribe by the end of the trial, your account simply pauses — drafts stop posting and you keep access to your history. Nothing is charged.
Cancelling a paid subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Two ways to do it:
- From inside the app: open Settings → Billing, then click Cancel subscription.
- By email: write to hello@starmaxxer.com from the email address on your Starmaxxer account.
Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then. We don't prorate partial months — if you cancel on day 3 of a 30-day cycle, you still have 27 days of paid access remaining.
Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable by default because subscribers can use the product the entire month they paid for. There are two exceptions where we will refund:
- Accidental or duplicate charges. If you were billed in error (e.g. a duplicate subscription, a charge after cancellation), email us within 30 days and we'll refund the mistaken amount in full.
- Service unavailability. If Starmaxxer was materially unavailable for an extended period during your billing cycle and our team confirms it, we'll prorate or refund the affected period at our discretion.
Refunds are issued through LemonSqueezy, our payment processor, to the original payment method. They typically post within 5 to 10 business days depending on your card issuer.
Where local law (such as the EU's consumer protection rules) grants you a stronger refund right than this policy, that law applies.
What happens to your data
When you cancel, your account stays open with your full history intact in case you want to come back. You can resubscribe at any time and pick up where you left off. If you want your data deleted entirely, use Settings → Danger zone → Delete account or email privacy@starmaxxer.com. Deletion is permanent.
